Egypt is generally a safe and friendly country to travel. Egyptians on the whole are very friendly - if you are in need of assistance they will generally try to help you as much as they are able.

Egyptian men will make compliments to women; do not take offense if they do this to you. Men shouldn't be worried, either; if they do this to your partner/daughter, it will be nothing more than a compliment, and hopefully won't go any further than that.
Karul Morton Egyptian guys are very, very charming and friendly. I think women can enjoy the compliments but not take them seriously. This sounds like common sense but it's amazing how many women fall for the lines that the guys tell everyone. They are not being serious. I think Egyptian guys are just notorious flirts and can't help themselves. It's in their nature. Every women likes to be told she's beautiful, a queen etc. Smile, accept the compliments for what they are and keep your head. Maybe it's a sign that our guys in the West need to compliment Western women more lol.
